Post-Mortem
The Post Mortem drawing is drawn from morgue and sometimes crime scene images, or is some cases viewing the actual body. The face or identifying features have been traumatised in some way or are in stages of decomposition thus making it very difficult to make an identification. Most of the time post mortem images are not appropriate to be released to the media for identification due to the graphic nature.Seeing these type of images can be very upsetting and traumatic for the victims family and loved ones. For that very reason I will not be posting post mortem images. I find this to be one of the most sensitive parts of the work I do.
